Tanja’s mastermind class has helped me jumpstart my ‘book,” the one that’s been lying around in my office on sticky notes and scraps of paper for 22 years. She’s a master at conveying the process of writing, how to focus and what to do when you’re starting to go in circles and feel overwhelmed. I’ve gotten perfect coaching and great tools to stay on task, but more than that, insights into both the mechanics and heart of writing that bring me wholeheartedly into the process.
Tanja has the amazing talent of creating a totally positive and magical environment where writers can feel comfortable and confident enough to share their most intimate work while giving deeply reflective and creative feedback. –S.S.
I offer mastermind groups as well as a handful of one-on-one coaching slots to a select group of writers. Together, we support you in the writing process, whether you’re just getting started or finishing your manuscript. Common themes include getting unstuck, creating a road map, clarifying technique and identifying simple strategies that work for you.
If you’re interested in joining a mastermind group or working with me on an individual basis, please fill out the form below or send me an email at tanja [at] tanjapajevic [dot] com. From there, we’ll discern whether we’re a good fit. Please know that I’m unable to work with everyone who contacts me.
One of the biggest mistakes writers make is waiting until they’re done with their manuscript before hiring an editor. This often leads to major rewrites, increasing the cost, time and emotional investment of your project.
Getting a developmental review early in the process will help you figure out if your story works before you spend precious time and energy polishing your manuscript–saving you lots of frustration, not to mention time and money. It’s essential to get big-picture help with narrative style, pacing, structure and technique before you get bogged down in line-edits and final revisions.
What is a developmental review?
A close read of 10,000 words (approximately 40 pages*) with a comprehensive editorial assessment. We’ll look at how your story holds together as well as address overall story structure, pacing, perspective, tone/voice, showing v. telling, dialogue, narrative style and organization. We’ll cover what’s working, as well as what needs to be strengthened (with specific examples of how to do it), as well as where to go next.
(*Double-spaced, 12-pt font.)
What does it cost?
What you’ll get:
A comprehensive editorial report delivered via email.
