Stop Waiting! Follow Your Dreams Instead

I see too many writers give up after getting a few rejection letters. They start their book with passion, inspiration and deep commitment, only to be shut down when some stranger sends them a form rejection letter saying their book isn’t good enough. (Yuck!) From there, most writers take one of two paths forward: They give up. Their once-beloved book goes on the back burner, where it sits for years. They push forward, no matter what. What happens to the folks who give up on their dream, and let go of the book that their soul insisted they write? Well, I believe they lose a bit of their oomph. I can’t tell you how many people tell me they want to write a book. But they don’t know how, don’t have time and/or don’t know where to start. Without a plan, it’s easy to keep putting it off. I get it! Writing a book can be a big project, absolutely. But it can also be incredibly rewarding. The trick is breaking it down into manageable pieces. Making it Sustainable

What does your heart want for 2018? My heart wants space, time, freedom, travel and play. Plus two new books I want to write. And a couple of exciting ideas for growing my business. Can you tell I’m an idea person? I have a zillion projects I’d love to do if I could pull them all off!
